IDVisor^® Z22 is our latest handheld ID scanner. It reads and decodes driver licenses and state issued IDs with magnetic stripes and 2D bar codes which means it works with 49 states (all except GA) and several Canadian IDs. It also reads Military IDs - both the new Common Access Card and Uniform Military IDs. Check the Coverage Chart - look for your state and see which technology is in use.

All its batteries are internal Li-Ion batteries (no memory effect), recharges in about 4 hours and will easily last an entire night's use. Just recharge at the end of the night or leave it plugged in all the time. New ruggedized case is designed with bouncers in mind and incorporating what we've learned from providing mobile ID scanners since 2001.

There are three packages available which include a version (CardVisor II, CardVisor III, or CardVisor IV) of the CardVisor age verification software, a HotSync cable, AC charger, and connectivity software. IDVisor^® Z22 Packages are available with CardVisor II, III or IV software (see short description below). Each package includes everything needed to start checking IDs. It includes CardVisor software (II, III or IV) loaded into Z22 computer, built in rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, a USB Hotsync™ Cable, and Palm™ Desktop application for Windows or Macintosh™. IDVisor Z22 - CardVisor II Package includes everything needed to start checking IDs. It includes CardVisor software II loaded into IDVisor Z22 handheld ID Scanner, a USB Hotsync™ Cable, Palm™ Desktop application for Windows or Macintosh™, and documentation.

CardVisor II Software - Calculates the age, generates a warning when underage or expired and saves the first name, middle name, last name, title, address, city, state, zip, gender, license number, date of birth, expiration date, status of the swipe (OK, under 18, expired, etc.), date and time of swipe. It also displays key information on the screen such as first/last name which allows the bounce to cross check against the printed name on the front of the ID, helpful in detecting fake IDs. IDVisor Z22 CardVisor III Package includes all features mentioned in above CardVisor II package plus the VIP/Banned & Append Notes found in CardVisor III software.

CardVisor III Software has a second VIP/Banned database which all licenses are checked against. This allows a bouncer to identify individuals at the front door and take appropriate account. It also has an Append Notes features which allow notes (e.g. phone number, email address, 'trouble maker', etc.), entered via the touch screen, which are saved with the most recent license data. This information is then downloaded with the license data to the PC and helps maintain the VIP/Banned and/or customer database. Click here to learn more.

IDVisor Z22 CardVisor IV Package includes all features mentioned in the above CardVisor III package plus the AntiPass back feature found in CardVisor IV software.
